A fantastic selection of 6 of our favourite winter wines - £80 including delivery! Perfect for Christmas drinking or gifting.
La Fornarina, Blanc de Blancs Spumante NV
Fruity, lightly sparkling, fully dry. What more do you want? Great for a celebration or at the start of a meal to kick it off. Glera is the grape used to make Prosecco, and the addition of 10% Chardonnay adds a little extra complexity.
Barone Montalto, Pinot Grigio 2020
This is the best Pinot Grigio we've tried. Soft and elegant, showing flavours of pears, apples and lemon. Naff label, but that's what Italian wine is all about!
Morgado de Silgueiros, Tinto 2017
An inky red that punches well above its weight, displaying all the typical red, black and blue fruits that characterise wines from the Dao. Deeply coloured and packs a punch, but still retains freshness. (Gold Medal Winner - Portugal Wine Awards).
Miopasso, Primitivo 2019
A rich and spicy red from Puglia in the south of Italy. A proper winter warmer, hefty but with plenty of elegance. Will match perfectly with a Christmas dinner.
Finca Besaya, Rioja Crianza 2017
Aged 12 months in American oak. Quite modern in style, lots of dark, jammy fruit along with the flavours of chocolate, espresso and toast that the oak brings.
Quinta de la Rosa, Finest Reserve Port NV
One of the best examples of ruby Port - rich but not sticky sweet, packed full of Christmas-y flavours of spice, dried raisins and dark chocolate.
