Thibault Liger-Belair, Moulin-a-Vent ‘Champs de Cour’ 2017 – 6 bottles OCB (In-Bond)

Description

Top-quality Beaujolais grown biodynamically on old vines. Intense, more like a Burgundy than a Beaujolais in some ways, with rich fruit and lots of earthiness. Lots of stems and whole bunch, aged in old oak.

This wine is offered in-bond. Prices do not include duty (£2.67/btl) or VAT (20%), which must be paid if this product is sold out of bond.

Thibault Liger-Belair is cousin to the legendary Comte Liger-Belair. In 2001 he took over an old family property in Burgundy and over the years has added vineyards across the region to his offering. All his wines are certified biodynamic and organic.

Only 1,125 bottles were produced from this tiny parcel of vines located high up on the hill. Classic TLB style, rich and full-bodied, almost tastes more like a Burgundy Pinot than a Gamay.

This wine is offered in-bond. Prices do not include duty (£2.67/btl) or VAT (20%), which must be paid if this product is sold out of bond.
