Description
Moreau-Naudet is a rising star in Chablis, a domaine of 25ha run by Virginie Moreau with good holdings at village level as well as premier and grand cru. Virginie’s late husband Stephane was influenced by Vincent Dauvissat when he established the domaine and the similarities continue to the current day. Grapes are hand-picked and the vineyards are farmed organically.
The village Chablis is the only one in the range to see any oak, though only one barrel per hectolitre just to prepare the wood for the premier and grand crus. Taut and fresh with a chalky texture and a long, citrussy minerality.
This wine is offered in-bond. Prices do not include duty (£2.67/btl) or VAT (20%), which must be paid if this product is sold out of bond.
